The AARP Foundation presented the Agency with a $90,000 check for disaster recovery efforts at the AARP Evening of Inspiration on December 14. The Agency will use the grant to expand NCHousingSearch.com in areas impacted by Hurricane Florence. The award was part of $635,000 in grants that were awarded to a number of NC organizations. AARP Foundation raised more than $1 million for North Carolina and South Carolina following Hurricane Florence.
